HDFX is an events company which are highly involved in efficient events management, marketing and productions. Besides planning large-scaled events, we also work closely with brands such as Fraser, CapitaLand Mall & Lend Lease Private Limited for shopping mall campaigns for occasions such as Mid Autumn Festival, Halloween, Christmas & Lunar New Year. Taking on the role of an Event Executive Intern exposed & equipped me with great knowledge like liaising with the operations, back-end of events, understanding the logistics preparation, official documentations and research required for each event. I was able to use skills learnt in school such as content creation, brand storytelling through visuals and project management etc.

SINGnopsis 梦乐之旅

Final Year Project
SINGnopsis is a mandarin TED-style concert which aims to encourage youths aged 15 - 34 to overcome the odds to pursue their dreams through local musicians' performances and sharing of personal journey. Leading up to the concert, there are active social media engagement and productions carried out to enrich and involve our target audience in this project of ours. My role in SINGnopsis is the Social Media Marketer (IG & Tik Tok) and Public Relations Head . I'm blessed to be given a chance to share content creation, apply my events management and communication skills to this project. The project duration was from April to August 2023, and our concert was held on 28th July 2023 at Chevrons Auditorium Singapore.
Youth Leaders Camp 2023 (Overall-Student-In-Charge) :
Youth Leaders Camp is an annual 2-days flagship event of Ngee Ann Polytechnic since 2008. It targets Secondary Two & Three Student Leaders, enriching them in becoming better leaders of future through leadership workshops, programme talks and interactions with our very own student leaders from Ngee Ann Ambassadors. As the Overall-In-Charge of this event, I oversee the communications and deliverables of the project between Corporate Communication Officers and my team ICs. Besides overseeing the planning of the programmes and progress of various tribes, on the execution I am also in-charge of the smooth movement with campers and student leaders from locations to locations, and ensuring that the programme runs smoothly and according to schedule. Through this, I was given a chance to hone my communication and operations skills.
Super Loco Robertson Quay Guest Relations Team
Being with SuperLoco Company for the past 1.5 years, I have gained many technical and soft skills. As Robertson Quay is one of the busiest outlet, we encounter and serve both local and guests from foreign lands. The Guest Relation Team creates the first impression of the restaurant to our customers. We handle both physical and online reservations through emails, phone calls and SevenRooms application, we are the main bridge of communication between our customers and the various departments (Kitchen, Bar & Floor Team) for Large Group Bookings/Event Dinners. Through my experience in SuperLoco, I've adopted a positive attitude towards effective communication between people and also the importance of creating a fun & festive experience for our customers.
Ngee Ann Polytechnic Open House 2023 (Hospitality Team In-Charge)
"Hi! Welcome to Ngee Ann!" is NP Open House Hospitality Team 2023 slogan. We create the spirit and the life of the Ngee Ann Polytechnic to each and every visitor who enters into Ngee Ann Polytechnic with our bright smiles and loud welcome. With our training sessions, we equipped our student ambassadors with enthusiasm and good product knowledge of the various diplomas that Ngee Ann Polytechnic offers so that we can provide the most useful and accurate information to our visitors.
RED Camp Lit Camp 2022 Centurions Chief Student Leader
RED Camp is one of the major flagship events of Ngee Ann Polytechnic targeting O'levellers and ITE Students who are aspiring students of NP. As part of the Chief Student Leader (CSL) Team, we assist NP Corporate Communications Officers in planning the activities for both student leaders and campers. The 2-days camp has taught me skills such as teamwork, resilience and adaptability.
RED Camp Lit Camp Student Leaders Recruitment Drive (Student Overall-In-Charge)
This project enabled me an opportunity to gain both technical and soft skills efficiently. I was able to learn how to handle the Operations and Admin matters of the recruitment drive, which gave me a chance to work very proficiently on Google Excel Sheets & liaised with Ngee Ann Polytechnic Corporate Communications Officers.
